Treating Airway as Early in Life as Possible — an ADA Children's Airway Virtual Event

ADA - Program

Treating Airway as Early in Life as Possible

Thursday, Dec. 10, 7:30─9 p.m. CT

Friday, Dec. 11, 9:30 a.m.─5 p.m. CT

The early ages, before 71 months, is the best time to discover breathing problems in kids. If they don't breathe properly early, they don't grow into their best airway health and full life potential. There are screening, diagnostic, and treatment steps every dentist can take to ensure their young patients are given every advantage.

You will learn from experts who have put into practice coaching for health in children and provided therapy to improve the airway. Orthodontic and otolaryngology specialists will share what they add to a team of professionals to help general and pediatric dentists treat their patients and teach guardians what can be done to give children their best chance at good health for a lifetime.

Directed exercises and Q&A with the experts will prompt every dental team to create action plans to talk about airway health for their next child patient.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify children at risk for poor development of a healthy airway
  • Discuss new-thinking therapy choices to kids and their guardians
  • Form a strategy within their office to address overall children’s health from a strongly preventive perspective
