The real test of leadership does not occur when everything is smooth sailing. Rather, leadership is oftentimes tested during a crisis. Challenging situations, when handled appropriately, can help organizations learn from the situation and be better equipped to lead through the inevitable challenges of tomorrow. In this session, you’ll learn the key elements of leadership need in crisis.

- Understand governance roles and responsibilities
- Examine the legal duties assumed in taking a leadership role
- Exercise good governance to protect and further the interest of the organization

Keynote Speaker: A Problem Identified is an Opportunity
Robert Stevenson, President and CEO, Seeking Excellence, Inc.
Over 2,500 companies in 250 different industries, continue to rely on Robert Stevenson to share his fresh, unique perspective on businesses’ most crucial issues. He was just ranked 4th in the world as an expert in Change Management. He has also had the opportunity to speak several times to the American Dental Association, along with working with of our Board of Trustees. Mr. Stevenson will be delivering a 35-minute virtual program to help position the following 60-minute panel discussion. His program is entitled, “A Problem Identified is an Opportunity.”
Great leaders have no problem admitting a policy or procedure just doesn’t work anymore. They understand they cannot become what they need to be by remaining what they are. Mr. Stevenson’s program will be discussing the critical issues and problems which need to be addressed in the ADA, if we plan to thrive in the coming years. His approach is extremely candid, and he will be looking for frank, open and objective input during the panel discussion.
