Products that remove plaque, halt bad breath earn ADA Seal
October 21, 2017
Several oral health care products, including battery-operated water flossers and an alcohol-free rinse, have earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance this year.
These over-the-counter goods received the Seal in addition to three first-in-category products announced earlier this year: electric Waterpik Water Flossers, Oral-B Oscillating-Rotating-Pulsating Power Toothbrushes and Crest 3D White Whitestrips Glamorous White.
The ADA Council on Scientific Affairs' acceptance of the previous items means the products' manufacturers passed ADA Laboratory tests and met ADA and American National Standards Institute-approved dental standards, when applicable.
