Visa Procedures & Instructions | ADA FDC Annual Meeting 2020
Many attending ADA FDC 2020 from outside of the United States (U.S.) will need a visa to come into the country. Whether just for the meeting or to add some days to explore Orlando, make sure you have taken the correct steps to get the proper access. You will be able to register for the meeting and courses while waiting on your visa status.
Visas to the U.S. can take a long time to process, so begin the process 4-6 months in advance of the meeting.
Visa applicants from Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela or Yemen may experience enhanced screenings.
- Visa applicants (of any nationality) who have traveled to these countries may not be eligible for the ESTA program.
- If an ESTA application is rejected, the applicant should apply for a standard U.S. visa
The ADA has partnered with Travisa/CIBT to guide visitors through the visa process. Travisa/CIBT has worldwide office located in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia to assist with U.S. visas, with regional offices in Houston (USA), London (UK) and Singapore.
Letter of Invitation
After you register for ADA FDC 2020, you will get an official Letter of Invitation through the online registration system. The letter is available for you to download as soon as you complete your registration – no waiting!
This invitation is intended to facilitate travel and visa arrangements but does not extend financial support. If you pay for registration but your visa request is denied, we will issue a full refund.
If there is a demonstrated need for a letter before registration, please contact Jessica Alfe.
