The ADA’s new consumer website, Mouth Healthy
, is here, and the July 16 ADA News contains a promotional tent card that dentists can use to promote the website to patients.
An English/Spanish tent card is available, too. To request one, email email@example.com.
Other promotional items are also available, including a flyer for dentists to distribute and a Web button that can be used on members’ practice websites to link to Mouth Healthy.

Mouth Healthy brings a wealth of information on dental health that helps dentists communicate with patients and ensures that patients have the best information in order to make informed decisions about their oral health.
Mouth Healthy provides the timely and credible oral health information on prevention, care and treatment people are looking for with in-depth content, new videos and a highly engaging presentation for visitors.
The public can find:
- oral health information by life stages, from pregnancy and babies through adults over 60;
- A-Z topics with videos;
- ADA Seal of Acceptance products;
- tips and activities to make oral health care fun for kids;
- ADA Find-a-Dentist to help them find an active licensed ADA member dentist in their area.
With one click, Mouth Healthy is also available in Spanish.
The ADA organized a June 28 satellite media tour for the launch of Mouth Healthy in which ADA consumer advisor Dr. Maria Lopez Howell answered questions on first dental visits, frequency of brushing and flossing, fluoride and nutrition, and encouraged viewers and listeners to visit the new website. Spanish-speaking media outlets accounted for half the 27 interviews performed.
“There’s a quiz on Mouth Healthy, 'Brush Up on Your Dental IQ,’ “ Dr. Howell said in one interview. “We encourage you to take the quiz and find out what you know about your oral health but more importantly, what you don’t know.”
