HRSA seeks grant reviewers

June 14, 2012

By Craig Plamer, ADA News staff

Rockville, Md.—The Health Resources and Services Administration invites applications from dentists and other health professionals interested in reviewing government grants. The HRSA is the primary federal agency involved in access to care services for uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable persons.

Reviewers advise the agency on selecting the best programs from competitive groups of applicants and awarding grants. A notice posted at the HRSA website says the agency needs new and experienced reviewers with expertise in health professions training, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, organ transplantation, primary care for underserved people and rural health.

Application and process information is available at and in a letter from the agency administrator posted at the website.
