FDI’s 100th anniversary Congress nears

Still time to save with early registration rates

Hong Kong—There’s still time to save up to 60 percent on registration for the 100th anniversary FDI World Dental Congress Aug. 29-Sept. 1. Early bird registration discounts are available through May 31 at

The Congress will convene at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Hong Kong Island’s Victoria Harbor. Once a British colony, now a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong is a world-renowned center of business and commerce, culinary expertise and cultural diversity.

U.S. dentists attending the can take advantage of an extensive scientific program presented by experts from around the globe. Meeting-goers also have free access to the Congress exhibition hall, featuring products from around the world, a live product display center, a poster presentation corner and e-poster area and a replay theater that will showcase selected educational sessions throughout the day.

Harbor: Hong Kong will welcome dentists from around the world this fall.

The social program includes the traditional Welcome Ceremony, a Hong Kong Night cruise in Victoria harbor and a Gala Dinner.

Outside the convention center, travelers can explore the best of Hong Kong, Macau and pre- and post-congress excursions to Mainland China.

The FDI World Dental Parliament will also meet during the Congress. The FDI is the principal representative body for more than one million dentists and nearly 140 national dental associations worldwide, developing health policy and continuing education program, speaking as a unified voice for dentistry in international advocacy and supporting member associations in oral health promotion activities worldwide.
