Association TRENDS, a weekly online publication for association leaders, announced the winners Dec. 12. All winners will be honored at the 2015 Salute to Association Excellence on Feb. 6, 2015 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.
The new, along with its suite of professional websites including ADA Foundation, ADA Annual Meeting, ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry and ADA Business Resources, went live on April 30 and is the culmination of over a year of research and development.
Work on the new website involved all ADA divisions and major collaboration of Association staff and leaders who all had one goal in mind: enhance with the member in mind.
The revitalized website offers improved tools and resources for both dentists and patients and is designed to be viewed easily on mobile devices. In addition, the website enhanced the digital experience for ADA members, potential members and other interested parties by upgrading the functionality and design of ADA websites.
The work in building the new website included designing 63 templates, migrating 4,000 Web pages and 6,000 media assets to a new content management system, building sitemaps for eight new websites, developing a search function that allows users to search across all ADA sites and giving logged-in members a personalized and customizable profile area.
The websites for FutureFood 2050 and the American Association for Justice in partnership with Blue Water Media received the silver and bronze level awards, respectively.
According to Association TRENDS, it will be updating its TRENDS All-Media Gallery in the next few weeks with each of the winning entries, along with photos and judges remarks. To view the gallery, visit
