Dr. Ed Holliday will compete in GOP primary May 12

April 07, 2015

Candidate: Dr. Ed Holliday will compete in the Republican primary May 12 to represent Mississippi’s First Congressional District as the fourth dentist in the U.S. Congress. “If elected I will work to advance the oral health of all Americans,” he said. “I look forward to serving as an additional voice in Congress for the American Dental Association, other dental groups and dentists throughout our country.” The seat was left vacant on the death of GOP Rep. Alan Nunnelee. The general election will be June 2. Dr. Holliday practices general dentistry in Tupelo.
