Industry Watch: Renaissance Dental supports dental care for low-income children
April 20, 2015
Renaissance Dental April 9 pledged $10,000 to the Kanawha County Dental Health Council in Charleston, West Virginia.
The donation will allow the council to purchase a new hygiene unit and dentist chair for its main four-chair dental clinic. The council supports seven free dental clinics that annually serve more than 2,000 students from low-income families.
"The children we serve come from low-income families which account for 70 to 80 percent of households in Kanawha County," said Dr. Amelia J. Potesta, council executive director. "Our goal is to benefit every child enrolled in Kanawha County Schools."
