Dentists share addiction struggles
February 15, 2016
The ADA Center for Professional Success features video testimonials from dentists who have struggled with addiction and have found their path of long-term recovery.
“Voices of Hope: Well-Being in Practice in Life” includes videos of dentists sharing their addiction stories and how they found recovery. Drs. William Claytor, member of the North Carolina Caring Dental Professionals; Brett Kessler, chair of the Dentist Well Being Committee and Concerned Colorado Dentists; and Curtis Vixie, chair of the California Dental Association Well-Being Committee and the Northern California Well-Being chair; discuss their descents into addiction and how they continue to educate their peers that long-term recovery is a reality.
