Tobacco-related research abstract submissions accepted

December 07, 2018 Minneapolis —Dental professionals who have research to share related to tobacco control are invited to submit their abstracts by Dec. 12 to organizers for the National Conference on Tobacco or Health.

The National Network of Public Health Institutes' conference, scheduled for Aug 27-29 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, invites tobacco control and public health professionals and researchers to learn about best practices and policies to reduce tobacco use.

Abstract submitters should choose a topic/program area to which their submission corresponds for possible inclusion in the conference. The program area topics and submission forms are available on the National Conference on Tobacco Or Health website.

Smoking tobacco is the leading cause of preventable death and costs the U.S. billions of dollars each year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Registration is open for the August conference. Visit NCTOH.org for more information. Email questions to nctoh@nnphi.org.
