Rep. Mike Simpson

Rep. Mike Simpson, R-Idaho, is seeking re-election in the 2nd district.

Dr. Simpson was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho, and completed dental school at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis. He is currently serving his 10th term in the House of Representatives, where he is a member of the House Appropriations Committee and chair of the Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development. He also serves on the Interior, Environment and Related Agencies Subcommittee and the Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittee.

Rep. Paul Gosar

Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Arizona, is seeking re-election in the 4th District.

Dr. Gosar resides in Prescott, Ariz., and received his dental degree from the Creighton Boyne School of Dentistry. He is currently serving his fourth term in Congress and is a member of the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He is also chair of the Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources and vice chair of the Subcommittee on the Interior.

Rep. Brian Babin

Dr. Brian Babin, R-Texas, is seeking re-election in the 36th District.

He grew up in Beaumont, Texas, and completed dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He is currently in his second term and he serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Committee on Science, Space and Technology. He is also chair of the House Subcommittee on Space.

Rep. Drew Ferguson

Dr. Drew Ferguson, R-Ga., is seeking re-election in the 3rd District after winning the seat in 2016.

Dr. Ferguson earned his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1992, where he has been an adjunct faculty member since 1998. He is currently on the House Budget Committee, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Education and Workforce Committee.

Dr. Fred Costello of Florida is running as a Republican in Florida’s 6th District. He earned his dental degree from the University of Iowa School of Dentistry. He is from Ormond Beach, Fla., and is a former mayor of the city as well as two-time Florida state representative.

Dr. Jeff Van Drew is running as a Democrat in New Jersey’s 2nd District. He earned his dental degree from the Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dental Medicine He is currently a New Jersey state senator in the state’s 1st district. He practices dentistry at Pleasantville, N.J.

Dr. Gary Wegman ran as a Democrat in Pennsylvania’s 9th district but did not win the May 15 primary. He earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and previously served as chairman of the Reading (Pa.) Parking Authority. He is from Exeter, Penn.
