Mini Joint Civilian Orientation Conference now open for nominations

Washington — Nominations for the 2019 Mini Joint Civilian Orientation Conference are now open until Nov. 30.
Each year, the U.S. Secretary of Defense invites civilians to spend a few days with the Department of Defense. In 2019, the DOD will conduct a Mini Joint Civilian Orientation Conference for entry-to-mid-level health care professionals, including dental students. The next Mini JCOC is set for April 14-17.
Eligible nominees are:
- U.S. citizens who are 21 or older and in good health.
- Individuals who are entry- to midlevel in their careers.
- Individuals with very little experience or knowledge of the U.S. military.
- Individuals who are able to attend the entire conference.
