CDC seeks applicants for lead dental officer at chronic disease center

–– The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeking a dental officer to lead the Surveillance, Investigations and Research Team at the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in Atlanta.
The team lead serves as a national expert in oral health science, supervises other scientists responsible for oral disease studies and oversees the CDC Division of Oral Health’s activities supporting infection prevention and control in dentistry, as well as the Dental Public Health Residency Program.
Applicants must possess a doctor of dental surgery or doctor of dental medicine degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association, Commission on Dental Accreditation or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The salary range is $110,231 to $143,304. The application period ends June 6.
