Survey yields resources for National Children’s Dental Health Month

November 04, 2019

GKAS/ADAF Tiny Smiles logoDentists can take a brief survey by Nov. 15 to receive a free resource kit in time for National Children’s Dental Health Month.

Tiny Smiles, a Give Kids A Smile program, is a collaboration of the ADA and Scholastic. The program provides early childhood educators and medical and dental  professionals with free resource kits to help educate parents and caregivers  about the importance of optimal oral health of kids ages 0 to 5.

The kit includes fun activity sheets, tips to share with parents and a mini-poster to display in dental and medical offices and classrooms. Tiny Smiles provides proven oral health education materials with measurable outcomes showing that kids are developing good habits that can help them achieve a lifetime of optimal oral health. The goal is to emphasize that tooth decay is preventable with proper care techniques.

Visit before Nov. 15 to take the survey. Everyone who completes the survey will also be entered for a chance to win $100 in Scholastic books. Fifty winners will be selected.
