3M Innovative Research Fellowship

The American Dental Association, with generous support from 3M Oral Care is pleased to announce Dr. Nathaniel Lawson as the first recipient of the 3M Innovative Research Fellowship Program.

Nominations for 2018 are now closed.

Program Objective

This fellowship is designed to encourage and engage researchers who are innovating and leading the way to advance dental materials science. The focus of the program is particularly to support future oriented new pathways and methods in dental research.

Award and Recognition

The recipient receives a $10,000 fellowship for two years, is honored at a private ADA event and has the opportunity to present their research via a continuing education program. The researcher may also have the opportunity to share their work and interact with 3M Scientists at 3M in St. Paul, MN or at dental research industry events.

Sponsorship

The American Dental Association sponsors the 3M Innovative Research Fellowship with the generous support of 3M Oral Care.

Nomination Process

Submit a letter of nomination describing the nominee’s research interests and explaining why the nominee deserves to be recognized as an emerging leader in dental research, along with the nominee’s curriculum vitae.

Nominations must be received by August 20, 2018 via email or hard copy to:
