ADA Seal of Acceptance: Independent Research Testing Site Qualification

ADA Seal Qualified

What Does It Mean to Be ADA Qualified?

This program is for independent research sites and organizations conducting clinical and/or laboratory research for manufacturers applying to the ADA Seal of Acceptance Program. A site voluntarily applies to be evaluated for Qualified status. An independent team of dental experts inspects the facilities, reviews the accuracy of data collection procedures and looks at the experience and training of the directors and staff.

If the site meets this strict criteria, it earns Qualified status. This indicates to product manufacturers that the ADA has evaluated the site for its ability to conduct quality research in support of Seal Program applications. By ensuring the research sites are fully independent, follow all the necessary protocols and produce accurate, valid and reliable data, the ADA Seal program receives the best non-biased data with which to evaluate product submissions.
