Most states are now allowing dentists to resume elective procedures, with only 10 states and D.C. still limited to emergency cases. What does the third week of “reopening” of dentistry look like? The ADA Health Policy Institute has been tracking the economic impact of COVID-19 on dental practices, and the Wave 5 of data collections, gathering information for the week of May 18, begins to show more solid signs of recovery among dental practices. In this webinar, shared the latest update from thousands of dentists across the U.S. in terms of patient volume, collections and staffing. Also, this webinar provided an update on dentists’ available supply of PPE and reasons keeping dentists from reopening their practices.
