This webinar highlighted the second wave of data collected as part of HPI’s tracking of the impact of COVID-19 on dentists in public health settings.

Topics covered included changes in staffing levels, patient volume, mobile programs, the use of teledentistry and overall patient capacity in FQHCs and other public health settings as a result of COVID-19 and how this compares to private practices. Panelists discussed a broad array of issues relating to how COVID-19 is affecting access to dental care for vulnerable populations and what long-term impacts the pandemic might have going forward.
