ADA offers free e-books on professional risk, OSHA from April 1-7

As part of its ongoing efforts to support dentists during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ADA is offering members two free e-books the week of April 1-7: “Managing Professional Risks: Best Practices” and “The ADA Practical Guide to OSHA Training: Compliance for Dental Professionals.”

Developed by leaders in the field of dental practice management, “Managing Professional Risks: Best Practices” assists dentists with managing professional risks from a clinical standpoint, dealing with patient records, charting and documentation in a secure way, how to find a legal advisor and more. “The ADA Practical Guide to OSHA Training: Compliance for Dental Professionals” gives dentists and dental team members the opportunity to earn three hours of CE credit. The 95-page workbook and 60-minute streaming video cover both the bloodborne pathogens standard and the hazard communications standard, along with general safety standards and an overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. The CE test can be downloaded, completed and submitted for credit.
