Bethesda, Md. — The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research is seeking comments on a proposed research initiative on dental fear and anxiety.
According to NIDCR, the purpose of the initiative, Characterizing Causal Mechanisms to Prevent Dental Fear and Anxiety, is to support research on the etiology of dental fear and anxiety and to develop or refine interventions to prevent dental fear and anxiety based on causal mechanisms.
To comment or learn more about the full initiative, visit the NIDCR Requests Input on the January 2020 Proposed Research Initiative. NIDCR staff will review submitted comments for consideration in further developing this proposed research initiative and related funding opportunities.
The deadline for commenting is March 13.
