PBHS, Inc. announced in January the launch of Consult Mode, an addition to ADA TV that enables dental providers to demonstrate 3D procedural animations, videos and tutorials chairside via tablets, iPads and other hand-held devices.

“It will now be easier than ever for providers to optimize chair time and better educate and inform patients with clear and consistent messaging — fostering trust, facilitating treatment planning and increasing case acceptance,” said Jay Levine, president of PBHS, Inc., the website and marketing services provider endorsed by ADA Member Advantage.

Through Consult Mode, providers have hundreds of 3D video animations and slide presentations available at their fingertips, including the entire line of ADA Toothflix patient education videos, Mr. Levine added.

“Providers simply navigate to their preferred playlist to show up-to-date procedural information in real-time,” he said.

Consult Mode represents the ongoing development and evolution of the ADA Member Advantage-endorsed ADA TV patient education platform, a broadcasting system that allows patients in waiting rooms to watch informative videos while educating patients about oral health specific services the dental practice provides.

“We’re excited to leverage the technical expertise of PBHS to make it even easier for practices to maximize chairside time and focus on informed patient discussions and the care delivery experience,” said Deborah Doherty, managing director of ADA Member Advantage.

The product enhancement, she added, will continue to set ADA members up for success by mobilizing the dental experience.

New ADA-supplied content is added on a monthly basis and providers have the option to stream custom videos and patient testimonials.
