
The Association is airing a webinar on Aug. 5 for dentists to learn more about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on dental practices, which includes new research on consumer views about returning to the dentist.
A Special Webinar from the ADA: How COVID-19 is Impacting Dental Practices and Patient Attitudes Toward Visiting the Dentist, scheduled 7-8:15 p.m. CDT, will also cover what long-term impacts the pandemic might have going forward.
The webinar panelists are Marko Vujicic, Ph.D., chief economist and vice president, ADA Health Policy Institute; Jon Last, president, SLRG & Partner in “Back-to-Normal Barometer”; Michael Graham, senior vice president, ADA Division of Government and Public Affairs; Dr. Kirk Norbo, chair of the ADA’s COVID-19 Recovery Task Force; and Dr. Nipa Thakkar, private practice dentist and faculty, Penn Dental Medicine. The webinar will also include an introduction by Dr. Chad Gehani, ADA president, and moderated by Dr. Kathy O’Loughlin, ADA executive director.
