The ADA posted an on-demand webinar March 20 offering answers to frequently asked questions about infection control in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program, COVID-19 Infection Control Protocols & Procedures, represents a collaboration with the Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention.
Presenters Eve Cuny and Kathy Eklund answered questions submitted by dentists and dental team members in response to a survey that was posted on the ADA’s website earlier this week.
The presenters are recognized experts in infection control:

She is adjunct faculty at Regis College’s dental hygiene program, where she teaches senior-level courses in oral health research and evidence-based decision-making. Ms. Eklund serves as faculty for the New England AIDS Education and Training Center and HIVdent.org and has been chair of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention board of directors. She is also a consultant to the ADA Council on Dental Practice.

Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she is also assistant dean for global relations.
