DEA Call Center suspends phone operations

Springfield, Virginia — The Drug Enforcement Administration announced that effective March 23, the DEA Call Center has temporarily suspended phone operations due to COVID-19 pandemic. To contact the DEA, send an email to DEA.Registration.Help@usdoj.gov.

 

The DEA has also set up an email alert that will send up-to-date information on the DEA’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. To receive the updates, register your email address at https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/USDOJDEADCD/subscriber/new.

All questions regarding policy on COVID-19 can be emailed to Natural.Disaster@usdoj.gov.

On March 16, 2020, the DEA published a COVID-19 Information Page on the Diversion Control Divisions website. This page contains important guidance concerning COVID-19 and the national drug supply, electronic prescribing of controlled substances, telemedicine, medicated assisted treatment, and other important federal and state information. This site will be updated frequently as new information and guidance is issued. The DEA urges registrants to check back frequently for further information.
