How dentists can keep the lights on during economic downturn

The ADA is streaming a free practice management webinar March 25 designed to help dentists predict short- and long-term impacts on their business operations during tough economic times and teach them how taking the right steps now can minimize their risk during the COVID-19 outbreak and its aftermath.

The webinar, Keep the Lights On: Protect the Health of Your Practice During the Economic Downturn, is scheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m. Central time. One hour of continuing education credit may be available.

In this webinar, Wendy O’Donovan Phillips, CEO of Big Buzz, will teach dentists how to use real-time data to quell their own fears and those of their patients. Ms. Phillips will also explain how to be proactive and reasonable in implementing their original 2020 business plans, as well as being immediately able to use these tools to provide teamwide focus and clarity during uncertain times.

Big Buzz is an agency delivering strategy and consultation to drive focused marketing efforts for dental/medical, senior living and medical technology sectors nationwide. Ms. Phillips is the author of two books, has been published in dozens of health care journals and lectures on some of the largest stages in the industry.

To help the speaker develop content specifically tailored to answer the audience’s most pressing questions, dentists are asked to take a few minutes to complete a seven-question survey by 5 p.m. March 24.
