The working group's mission will be to determine best technical practices for the capture, storage and exchange of data, with the goal of providing practitioners with guidelines on reliable methods for the secure and private exchange of data among patients and providers to aid in diagnosis, treatment and more.
The new documents will be developed through an open and voluntary consensus process under the guidance of the ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics.
