This webinar addresses the technology and science behind the N95 respirator and its efficacy. Alternatives to the N95 respirator will be presented, as well as the pros and cons of each alternative respirator. Methods to decontaminate and reuse N95 respirators will also be discussed and the efficacy and safety of regular surgical masks will be explained in detail.
The webinar will be presented by Steve Yun, M.D., a board-certified anesthesiologist who specializes in office and dental anesthesia. Dr. Yun obtained his medical degree from the University of Southern California, and completed his post-graduate training at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences. He is also a lecturer at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, a clinical professor at the Western University of Health Sciences, and an expert consultant and examiner for the Dental Board of California as well as a safety inspector for the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities.
