AADR now American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research

The American Association for Dental Research announced July 26 that it has expanded its name to be the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research.

“The expanded name presents the association as a professional resource, and home, for all scientists championing dental, oral, and craniofacial research,” said Jacques Nör, AADOCR president in a news release. “We are taking a holistic approach by welcoming every dental researcher, dental school, and research institution.”

The organization also announced new opportunities for membership, professional development and program growth, including:

  • Special themed content at the annual meeting on broader topics in dental, oral and craniofacial research.
  • Webinars by thought leaders throughout the year to engage with members.
  • An ambassadors program to help local leadership connect with dental, oral and craniofacial researchers.
