Participation requested for 2022 Survey of Dental Fees

ADA conducting survey of U.S. dentists in private practice concerning the fees they charge

The ADA is asking a select group of dentists to participate in the 2022 Survey of Dental Fees.

Every few years, the Association conducts a survey of U.S. dentists in private practice concerning the fees they charge their patients.

In January, a sample of U.S. dentists received a letter in the mail inviting them to participate in the 2022 Survey of Dental Fees.

Dentists who did not respond to the first invitation will receive a second copy of the survey in the mail in the near future.

Results from the 2022 Survey of Dental Fees are expected to be released this summer.

The 2020 Survey of Dental Fees  is available for download from the Association's catalog, free for members and for purchase by nonmembers. The 2020 report provides a national level snapshot of fees charged for more than 250 of the most common dental treatments, average fees for general practice and specialties, and average fees reported by general practitioners.
