PBHS announces ADA TV for Samsung Smart TV

Update allows subscribers instant streaming without plug-in sticks

PBHS, a RevenueWell company, announced June 29 that ADA TV, its dental waiting room streaming service, is now available on Samsung Smart TV manufactured in 2019 or later, enabling more dental practices to use the broadcasting system without any additional hardware requirements.

ADA TV subscribers can download the ADA TV app in the Samsung App Store and begin streaming customizable dental and entertainment content, according to PBHS, the website and marketing services provider endorsed by ADA Member Advantage.

The update simplifies usage and shortens setup time for new subscribers as it provides more options to run the dental streaming system.

“With ADA TV’s new home in the Samsung App Store, providers can instantly stream customized educational and entertainment content to their waiting room,” said Jay Levine, vice president RevenueWell. “Removing the need for additional hardware simplifies the setup process, meaning providers are only minutes away from entertaining patients from the moment they download the app. Prior hardware versions will continue to be supported for non-Samsung TV users.”

First launched in 2018, the ADA Member Advantage-endorsed ADA TV gives providers access to dozens of customizable content options including 3-D animations, videos, TV shows, digital marketing signage and testimonials to educate and entertain patients in their waiting room. Features like Consult Mode enable providers to utilize ADA TV Chairside on their tablets to educate patients on needed and available treatments.
