Free ADA webinar in late September presents modern alternative to traditional dental insurance

'Reframing how we view dental insurance is a step in the right direction'

The ADA is presenting a free webinar Sept. 27 on financial solutions without the need for insurance as dentists across the nation are looking for solutions to regain control of the dentist-patient relationship.

Embracing a New Era in Dental Benefits will stream from noon to 1 p.m. Central time.

The webinar will focus on the ADA-endorsed Bento, a technology company that is a modern alternative to traditional dental insurance.

"The changing landscape of dentistry requires the ability of dentists to be agile in making clinical and business decisions to maximize success for their patients, team and practice," said Paul M. Goodman, D.M.D., one of the presenters. "Reframing how we view dental insurance is a step in the right direction."

The other presenters are Landon Lemoine, chief growth officer at Bento, and Dennis McHugh, manager of third-party payer advocacy in the ADA Practice Institute's Center for Dental Benefits, Coding and Quality.

In this webinar, participants will hear how employers and dental offices are bridging gaps to deliver affordable oral health care that is accessible to more people and participants will learn of a new and different era in dental benefits.
