Today is the day, you’re off and away to...well, truthfully, an exciting but fairly unpredictable road ahead. While there’s no cookie-cutter mold for what happens after graduation, every new dentist I know agrees it’s a time of tremendous professional and personal growth. For me, just two years ago, I could not have imagined the twists and turns to come, but I was able to keep my sanity and figure it all out through perseverance and the help of great colleagues, mentors and friends. While I’m sure I’m not the first to congratulate you on this milestone and all the places you’ll go from here, let me reassure you that we—your dentistry family—are here for you to make things easier, starting now! Congratulations, Class of 2017; can’t wait to practice with you!
