Announcing JADA Foundational Science
Because oral health research knows no boundaries
JADA Foundational Science, ADA's new cross-disciplinary, open access journal, bridges basic and clinical sciences in oral-health research. Led by Editor-in-Chief Jack L. Ferracane, PhD, JADA Foundational Science will publish research reports, review articles and short scientific communications in biology, chemistry, engineering, and technology that are foundational to new theories of disease, new approaches to diagnosis and treatment, and will report on the technical breakthroughs underpinning the new clinical tools that advance oral and craniofacial health.

Articles published within JADA Foundational Science are open access, making the research available to a wide range of readers and further supporting the journal’s aim to foster interdisciplinary collaborations to accelerate advances in oral health. Open for Submissions
JADA Foundational Science, published jointly by ADA and Elsevier, is now accepting submissions on foundational science, as well as new and emerging scientific ideas, tools, and techniques, applied to research questions in oral and craniofacial health. Pertinent studies are invited in the areas of biology, chemistry, engineering, materials science, computer science and informatics, advanced imaging and processing, and other technologies.
