Take action now to ease student debt burden for dentists

Major changes to federal student loan programs have the potential to cause serious financial strain and uncertainty for new dentists and dental students. Given that today’s new dentists with student loan debt start their careers with an average of $305,000 in debt, these monthly payments, and the interest they accrue, will pose a significant economic burden. The ADA continues to advocate for numerous student loan reform policies, and today we are asking you to tell your members of Congress to support the Resident Education Deferred Interest (REDI) Act.
