To get the app

Download the "ADA Events" app by using the links below, or go to your mobile device’s app store and search for the ADA Events app.

Log into the app using the email you used to register for SmileCon and your Registration ID. Your Registration ID was in your confirmation email from “ADA SmileCon Meeting Customer Service.”

There won’t be any onsite printed materials, so make sure to download the app today!

Here’s what the app can do for you:

  • View your personalized agenda: See all the courses and events you’re attending.
  • Search for speakers and courses: Still selecting CE? See your options right in the app.
  • Register for courses and events: Don’t miss out on the activities you want!
  • Share your experience on social: Tag us using #ADASmileCon!
  • Connect with other attendees: What’s SmileCon without some socializing?
  • View exhibitors: Dive into the latest dental tech and tools.
  • And more!

 

Tips for using the app

  • Show Profile: To get the most out of SmileCon, we encourage all attendees to use the app and keep their profiles Public, the default setting (except for speakers). If you do not want exhibitors and other attendees to see your profile or send you messages through the app, you can update your Profile under “Go to My Profile/Settings.”

  • Schedule: You can view the full schedule of SmileCon courses and events under “Schedule” in the app.

  • My Agenda: If you have registered for any courses, they will show under “My Agenda.” This will include any Hands-On Activities and Master Classes. “My Agenda” can be accessed under the “Schedule” menu.

  • Register for a course: To register for a course, simply click on “Registration” in the app. Pre-registration for presentations is not required but suggested.

    Pre-registration for presentations secures your seat until five minutes before the course begins. If you don’t pre-register for a presentation, walk-ins are welcome if a presentation is not full.

    Pre-registration is required for a paid course (Hands-on Activity or Master Class) and guarantees your seat for the duration of the course.

    The mobile app refreshes every 15 minutes, so any new courses added onsite will show up in your Agenda shortly after.

  • My Favorites: You can favorite any Speakers or Attendees using the “Favoriting” option. The Favoriting feature does not apply to any CE courses or Events.

  • CE Verification: New this year—no verification codes needed! Simply go to the CE Verification site, find your course, complete a short evaluation, and your CE will be granted.

  • Exhibitors: To view the Exhibitor list and map, go to the “Exhibitors” section in the app. Click on the hamburger menu with bullets on the left side to see the exhibitor listing along with their booth numbers. You can interact with this list just as you would on the online site.

  • Discover SmileCon: Under the “Discover SmileCon” menu, you’ll find “Sessions and Events,” “CE Registration,” “Speakers,” “Attendees,” “Exhibitors,” “Sponsors,” “Show Specials,” “Maps” and “CE Verification.”

  • Convention Info: Find detailed information to help you navigate your SmileCon experience under the “Convention Info” menu, including “CE Registration,” “Dental Central,” “Hours,” “FAQ,” “Wi-Fi,” “Food Venues,” “Transportation,” “Health & Safety” and “Accessibility.”

  • Maps: If you need help finding your way around the convention center, you can access four maps in the “Discover SmileCon” menu in the app: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Dental Central.

  • Attendee Connect: This new feature makes it easy to connect with other attendees by exchanging contact information directly in the app — just scan each other’s digital badges.

  • Game: The mobile app game returns this year! Play to earn prizes by reaching the top three spots on the leaderboard by 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.
