ADA Lobby Day

Join hundreds of dentists to advocate for your patients, profession and practice.

ADA Lobby Day

Lobby Day 2026 will be held Sunday, March 22 to Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The Voice of Dentistry in Action

The American Dental Association (ADA) powers the profession of dentistry—equipping dentists with the tools, support, and voice they need to deliver high-quality care and improve the oral health of their patients.

We champion policies that strengthen the profession today and protect its future. Our advocacy ensures dentists have the resources and opportunities needed to provide the best possible care in every community.

From expanding access to care to advancing prevention and infection control, the ADA leads on the issues that matter most. We support public health programs, workforce development, fair coverage policies, and research that drive better health outcomes nationwide.

Together, these priorities shape a stronger future for dentistry—and healthier lives for the patients we serve.

Protect and Restore the Federal Oral Health Infrastructure

Ensure the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) maintains senior-level dental leadership and technical expertise across key agencies, so federal oral health investments are effectively administered, coordinated, and accountable.

Student Loans and Postgraduate Educational Debt

The bipartisan Resident Education Deferred Interest (REDI) Act ensures that dental residents qualify for an interest-free deferment on their federal student loans until after their residency is completed to help alleviate the unprecedented student loan debt burden they face.

ERISA and the Improving Dental Administration (IDA) Act

Support targeted ERISA reform so state dental insurance consumer and patient protection laws apply consistently to patients covered through employer self-funded dental plans, as well as fully insured plans.
