For the DAT administrations completed before March 1, 2025, the DAT Total Science scale score is based on a candidate’s performance on the Survey of Natural Sciences section. The DAT Total Science score is NOT the rounded average of a candidate’s scale scores in Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
For the DAT administrations completed after March 1, 2025, the DAT Total Science score is the rounded average of a candidate’s scale score in Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
