I was very pleased to see that the ADA is stepping forward with a class action lawsuit against Delta Dental. I have practiced for over 37 years and have noticed how Delta has increasingly managed to almost dictate the treatment plan for the patient which in most cases is a cheaper, less reliable and a lot of times would be a second or third choice for a patient treatment plan. I, as most dentists, prefer to treat my patients on an individual basis as to what I believe will be the best long-term restorative option. Our training, experience and relationships with our patients cannot be replaced by Delta’s preconceived limitations. I commend the ADA for taking a stand and am proud to be a member.
