Jim Goodman Promoted to American Dental Association Chief Business Strategy and Product Portfolio Officer

CHICAGO, March 7, 2022 — The American Dental Association (ADA) announced effective immediately that Jim Goodman has been promoted to Chief Business Strategy and Product Portfolio Officer.  

In this new position, Goodman will set and direct business strategy, ensuring that ADA members and customers remain the focal point. He will lead strategic assessment, direction and alignment over the entire ADA product and services portfolio. Additionally, Goodman will liaise with ADA’s wholly owned subsidiaries, including ADA Business Enterprises, Inc. (ADABEI) and ADA Business Innovation Group (ADABIG) to confirm alignment in serving ADA mutual customers, by focusing on maximizing resources across all organizations, reducing redundancies, streamlining processes and gaining strategic alignment of complementary products.

“I am honored and excited to take on this expanded role, working across the entire ADA, including our subsidiaries, ADABEI and ADABIG, to better serve our common customers,” said Goodman.

An ADA employee for nearly 13 years, Goodman will continue to provide strategic direction, executive leadership, and management oversight, as well as accountability of ADA’s Business Group, which includes Conference Services and Continuing Education, Corporate Relations, Strategic Sales & Product Development, Publishing and Business Analytics and Improvement.
