Course Description

Explore incorporating lasers into your practice with this course on laser and light-based technologies in oral healthcare. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of laser science, safety protocols and soft and hard tissue applications. Speaker Bios

Scott Benjamin, DDS
Dr. Benjamin is an internationally recognized authority, lecturer and author on dental lasers and advanced dental technologies and is in private practice in Sidney, NY. Additionally, Dr. Benjamin is an associate professor of clinical dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center; an adjunct professor at Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine; a visiting professor at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine; and a faculty expert at the Laser and Health Academy. He is the chairperson of the ADA Standards Committee’s working group on digital imaging technologies and the chairperson of the working group on dental lasers.
Jan LeBeau, RDH, BS
Jan has been in the practice and education of dental hygiene for over 30 years, most recently serving as the vice president of hygiene support for Aspen Dental. Jan has served as a co-chair of regulatory affairs for the American Academy of Laser Dentistry and has personally trained over a thousand dental hygienists in the use of soft tissue diode lasers. Jan is a certified medical laser safety officer.
Keith Brewster, DDS
Dr. Brewster is a general, cosmetic, laser and implant dentist serving the Dallas area for more than 30 years.
