Things to Consider when Deciding Whether to Join a PPO [Webinar]

This on-demand webinar will help dentists determine whether participating in a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan makes good business sense. The presenter is Tom Limoli, Jr., an expert on proper coding and administration of dental insurance benefit claims.

Mr. Limoli, Jr. will teach dentists on how to evaluate the financial implications of signing or not signing a PPO participating provider agreement. Topics for discussion include:

  • Reviewing current participating provider agreements.
  • The top common contractual clauses within third-party payer contracts and their potential financial implications on a dental practice.
  • Available ADA resources to help practices succeed.

Note: Due to the COVID-19 crisis, dentists may need to negotiate their fee schedules with payers. This negotiation should be done individually, between only them and their plan, and not with or on behalf of other dentists. To assist dentists, the ADA has developed a free downloadable resource: Dental Benefits: Handling Contract Negotiations.
