UPDATE FOR ADA MEMBERS (Jan 16, 2026): Dentists should be aware that the ADA has revised the Sample Notice of Privacy Practices, (PDF; ADA member login required), which includes information about the confidentiality of patient information from a Part 2 program **substance use treatment program**.
The ADA also created a Dental Practice Checklist (PDF; ADA member login required) that includes what dental practices need to do before Feb. 16.
