Secure Your Legacy with ADA Practice Transitions

ADA Practice Transitions (ADAPT), a service offered by the ADA, makes the process of buying, selling, or joining a dental practice more predictable and successful. However, ADAPT isn’t just another listing service. Instead, it connects dentists who share a similar practice approach – which leads to more successful transitions and careers.
ADAPT Matches Like-minded Buyers and Sellers
ADAPT Advisors help practice owners find the right associate or buyer who will carry on their legacy. ADAPT also helps dentists purchase practices or find associateships where they can thrive.

ADA Practice Transitions FAQ
-
Why was ADA Practice Transitions created?
Field research identified a need in the marketplace for dentists and practice owners to connect for employment opportunities and to facilitate the transition of a practice from one owner to another. The ADA recognizes that there is a need for a more predictable and reliable process than what currently exists in the marketplace today. At its core, ADA Practice Transitions is working to support independent dentistry and increase access to care in the United States.

How can I get started?
Fill out and submit a free profile to provide your ADA Advisor with your goals and match criteria. Once your profile is submitted and approved, your ADA Advisor will begin searching for dentists or practices that align with your needs.
Once you receive candidates, you can review their profile and request a connection. When you chose to connect with a candidate, a connection request will go out for them to review. If it is accepted, their contact information will be shown. From there, you can communicate with the candidate freely.
When your profile is submitted, you will also have access to resources to help you prepare for your transition and understand the process. An ADA Advisor will also be available to answer questions and provide guidance.
