Most practices have policies that explain the methods of payment accepted. These can include flexible payment options from external, third party lenders, prepayment and courtesy payment arrangements, and other internal financial arrangements.
Patients will appreciate knowing whether your office accepts their dental benefit plan and how the claim will be processed. Most patients will not know their specific benefits. Checking online portals of dental benefit companies for verification of benefits, deductibles, covered procedures and plan exceptions will help the patient with their financial arrangements.
